At one time I had just about EVERY submarine simulation around at the time. I love strategy games, as we played Risk (combined like 4 games worth of pieces), and many of the Avalon Hill games like 'War of the Roses' and Heart's of Iron (I have this on Steam now). My friends and I played 1000's of hours of AD&D where you had to use dice, graph paper, lead figures and a whole hell of a lot of imagination.

Learned how to program on a Commodore 64 and/or Pet depending on which was open at my high school's computer lab.

I remember in the late 70's my cousin and I over at an uncle's house on Christmas eve playing a "computer game" on the uncle's old Tandy that had two cassette drives for data. What are the odds I could get it to run on Windows 10 if I could find a copy? My wife and I LOVE that game, but I had it running on Windows 98SE. I don't mind loosing the $5 I paid for that, but can anyone recommend a really good racing game? Just for yucks, I'd really like to find Podracer from the late 90's. I had seen a video of it, and thought it'd be cool to play, only the game programmers it seems dropped the ball when it came to controllers. While I'm thinking about it, I had also bought Need for Speed: Most Wanted. Game is running fine, just hate using the keyboard! This is SO frustrating! I've been so wrapped up playing Borderlands 2 on my PS3 I forgot what it was like to play a FPS game on a computer. As soon as I did this Windows 10 recognized it! But I still can't find this damned Profiler program in order to assign buttons on the controller to keystrokes. One thing I tried was flipping the switch on the back of the controller to direct input. I don't sit around expecting other's to do work for me.
